The American Tragedy straight from Shreveport, Louisiana! It's about how the radio and rock industry is limiting the minds of the young rockers. How if they dont get away from mainstream rock, they will be a puppet. Its also about how their music is not about being the next (sell-out band) like Creed. People will listen to their music because of what it stands for. Not because they are on the front of Rock Magazines and shit. And most important;y, they will never play and comform because of what a record comp. wants. Check them out on Kazaa and Morpheus and shit. Totally awesome orginal Louisiana rock! Same city Kenny Wayne Sheppard reigned from.
American Tragedy is a straight edge hardcore band from San Diego.
You must be talking about a TOTALLY different band. I doubt their as good as San Diego's American Tragedy. The other 2 songs under American Tragedy are from the REAL American Tragedy from San Diego.
Actually.....all three songs are from the ONE and ONLY "The American Tragedy"!!!! They are from Shreveport, LA, but they get airplay out in San Diego because they have a very devoted fan/friend out there in Cali. I know because I am good friends with them...and help them out on occasion!! All 3 songs listed here are from their first CD entitled "Pennies". IF you like these songs...you havent heard ANYTHING yet!!! They just released their 2nd CD titled "The Soundtrack....". Check it out....its incredible. Unbelievable songwriting!!!!
