From Jonatha: "I wanted to get at a tender sentiment. A longing for the past but a look to the future. I wanted it to be lush, musically, that arrangement, the vocals. The approach. But also have that old school groove on the chorus. I think it does all that. And the coda, the outro takes it up a notch. It's like another song teasing you on. There's some mystery left there, and it's up to you to let it unfold on you. Marcus Miller made the song come together, his bass is the glue here."
