What You're Doing Lyrics
Would it be too much to ask of you,
What you're doing to me?
Why should it be so much to ask of you,
What you're doing to me?
Wond'ring what you're gonna do,
Should you need a love that's true,
It's me.
Why should it be so much to ask of you,
What you're doing to me?

Why would you think it's a Ringo song when Paul sings it and it's credited to Lennon & McCartney? Anyway, I'm a big fan of this one. Paul just sounds so heartbreakingly sincere. Maybe it's not the deepest of songs, but the emotion is right there! Also, the drumming is great.
i completely agree the emotion is there, just bleeding on a page... this song should really have more comments, but i guess how wonderful this song is will just be our little secret ('our' being the people who post comments on this song). The guitar use in this song reminds me of The Byrds....

amazing fantastic song. obviously, im quit enamored(SP?) of it, and it should have WAY more posts

Its a great song..I think its a ringo song..hail ringo the Starr!! does anybody think that too?

This is a standout track from their "Beatles For Sale" LP. It was the first album I ever heard, and I've been hooked ever since.

i love the drums in the beginning. this song is amazing ugh i miss the beatles!

This is a very enjoyable song. One of the best of BFS. It's one of those songs that will make you smile whatever mood your in. Georges lead is superb. It's incredable how it still sounds freash even though it's coming up to 50 years old.

This is a straightforward Paul song about a relationship on the rocks. It's memorable because of the fantastic guitar hook and drum intro.
