I think this song is about a person who takes a bath to find a party was going on and then he joins said party. Deep deep meaning! It seems funny to me that a little kid doesn't sing this. How old was he when he was splishing and splashing in a bathtub? haha. I stopped taking baths when I was like 7. lol.

as I recall in those days only rich folks had a shower everyone else had a bathtub, my family of 5 took baths until the late 60s when we got a shower, I even remember taking baths in a big steel tub that was filled with water heated on the wood stove at my grandmas, she had no bathroom just outhouse and huge kitchen sink with pump for water
