Shot Shot Lyrics

Well, hey, how's tricks man?
Think I've seen you before
Blank blank to that

You looked a lot older
You been working out
What's wrong with that?

Well he came back and he
Came a-marching in
Shot shot to that

You found a good reason
Well, do it for the money
What's wrong with that?

Control your bad side
Into battle we go down
Hold the line
You'll survive
Dead wrong

So please stop talking and
Start puckering up
My ears are blank

It's a special occasion
So do it for the money
Can't go wrong with that

Explode or capsize
But find my going
If you're down
Toe the line
You'll survive
Dead wrong

Well I have no idea what it's about but man it's a good song. It's so musically complex, so much is happening constantly, Gomez is always a treat for the ears. And the drumming early in the song, when everything starts playing for the first time, is unbelievable, it's so insane.

It's about running into a male prostitute he had met in the past, learning how society condones such practices and discredited as an individual. Gomez, in acceptance of all facets of life, conveys it's not about who you are on the outside, its about the inside that counts.

yea this is the first Gomez song i've heard, i reckon i'll get one of their albums cool lyrics and lil guitar riff, but i reckon the sax line just screws it up a bit

i think the saxophone is the greatest part about the song. i love this album, it's their best IMO.
