i actually think alot of thier songs have duel meanings, usually drugs and realationships cause they make eachother so difficult, but you are right, 99% of that cd is about drugs and addiction
this song's about getting high and being satisfied, but realize you're "pitiful laughable, once again silent" and then fade away
God I love how naiive I was growing up with this album. This site has proven that Fantastic Planet was nothing but drugs, but still I hold on to whatever traces of old interpretations I once had for these songs still lingers. "You want to hold on me, I want to hold out on you" that strikes me as a girl who is tricking herself that the relationship she is in is not only for the sake of sex. I guess it is me who was the tricked ha ha ha!
I have to agree. Sounds like a whole drug fuelled song.
