I'll show you a trick with
ants when
The sun's high in the sky
we can
Burn them up to crispy
black shells
See them crunched by
old, slow, slick snails
Light the fuse inside the
dead bird
Feather flurries rain on
our heads
Empty nest with three
small brown eggs
We'll think of something
before the night falls
Don't hurt a fly
they all sang
Don't rape a girl
in bright may
Don't kill anyone ever
Lay still and stand
this fever
The sun's just
A big glass
We're all ants
I love you
ants when
The sun's high in the sky
we can
Burn them up to crispy
black shells
See them crunched by
old, slow, slick snails
dead bird
Feather flurries rain on
our heads
Empty nest with three
small brown eggs
We'll think of something
before the night falls
they all sang
Don't rape a girl
in bright may
Don't kill anyone ever
Lay still and stand
this fever
A big glass
We're all ants
I love you

it seems he is noteing the stupidity of chistianity, i mean they did open for tool once or twice right? "God loves us, i mean look at this perfect world he made for us." lol
@kickjazz I watched James Franco's 'As I Lay Dying' a few weeks ago. This makes your description seem apt to me. The head of the family's name was Anse. And the mother who lays dying talking about the sound of words, including her husband's name; as though she perceived herself as being married to ants [yes, and a christian colony of ants, who traded spirit for duty as though duty itself was great love]. I liked the part where the doctor in the piece says something like 'it should've been your father's head that was cut off; it would've...

This is obviously about killing ants by magnafying the sun with a glass. When he says "we're all ants" maybe he's talking about god seeing people as ants?
....and maybe god is saying i love you as he burns us
i think its making comparisons between the cruelty of children towards insect in the name of boredom, with the cruelty of god towards mankind in the name of his "perfect creation".
much deeper than first glances may suggest. in my opinion...
i guess all the rockstars who accuse god for suffering in the world don't have even just a little clue about the theory of buddha that all beings are born to suffer only
discovered these guys from their replicants one-off. what they did to 'just what i needed' was... beyond words. magnified is a gem of an album, I only regret that i have discovered it so late.
