A face in stone decayed by age
A man who has returned to tell of his damnation
Fears so deep, the mouth open wide
The scream died away before dawn of this time
The eyes stares so empty
The mouth screams so silent
Tell me what did you see there?
In the darkness of the past
Ancient times legends stories so dark
Blackened his sight, now
Not even the memories are left
Back after such a long time
The stone is cold as death
But what formed it's true fears
Only the wind is able to tell

About how deceased ones only know the TRUE history that they lived in. 'Tell me - what did you see there" What the face in stone saw during his life. "Only the wind is able to tell" Nobody really knows for sure what happened to him.

This band is simply incredible. I just found them and I think it probably doesn't need to be said but regardless; this is less about lyrics and more about the unspeakable power that is behind it.. what is there...completely chaotic, bursts of intelligent reflection upon the ridiculous, pathetic bleakness of our race. This is not just music. It is a gateway to Something much darker, more complex, and far wiser.......

A face in stone decayed by age. The titular character is in a cemetery looking at the carved statues. A headstone with a dark past, Dead who wrote the lyrics was mentioning Transylvania maybe it vlad the impaler?
