Some People Lyrics

I’ve met a lot of people in the short life that I’ve led. Different persons, different faces, different qualities, different races. Some of them have earned my respect, because of something that they believe or something they have achieved. There’s something some people still have to learn: respect takes a lot of time to earn, but very little time to burn. Respect is a powerful thing, with it you can face everything. But don’t forget you’re not untouchable, you have to keep things in control. Some people think respect equals fear. But they couldn’t be more wrong. Cause those thoughts don’t even come near the description of respect in my life. They’re just looking for an alibi. They just couldn’t be more wrong.
