You have gone away
And that's alright with me
I know there’s much to learn
And I know there’s much to see
But deep inside your heart
Where our lost love can be found
There’s a guy that waits for you
But he's waiting until now

She's going away
Away from me
And now she's gone
And now I see
That if I look away
There’s a lesson learned
That it's over now
It’s lost forever

What if I woke up in my dreams
Exactly how it wouldn't seem
Would it be sure to last forever
Would you be right there by my side
Would you be with me for the ride
There's nothing that we could not endeavor

Even though I’ve been alone
Without you holding me
The jerk that hold you know
Has something over me
If there’s such a thing as love
And I’m sure there probably is
Then your love has skipped my heart
And I’m hurting all within

She’s going away
Away from me
And now she's gone
And now I see
That if I look away
There’s a lesson learned
That it's over now
It's lost forever

What if I woke up in my dreams
Exactly how it wouldn't seem
Would it be sure to last forever
Would you be right there by my side
I’d be there with you for the ride
There's nothing that we could not endeavor

And you've kept me around
Around for this long
You start to go down I come along
The only time life seems fair is
When I sleep later on
So you know I’ll be sleeping when you’re gone

And you've kept me around
Around for this long
You start to go down I come along
The only time life seems fair is when I sleep later on
So you know I’ll be sleeping when you're gone

What if I woke up in my dreams
Exactly how it wouldn't seem
Would it be sure to last forever
Would you be right there by my side
I’d be there with you for the ride
There's nothing that we could not endeavor

What if I woke up in my dreams
Exactly how it wouldn't seem
Would it be sure to last forever
Would you be right there by my side
I’d be there with you for the ride
There's nothing that we could not endeavor

This is a song written by the singer Brandon for this chic named Candice Brown (duh) who goes to RBV (Rancho Buena Vista). She was kinda stuck up like one of those "I'm So Beautiful And Popular Chics", who never gave Brandon a chance.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,
