Entry Way Song Lyrics
this is definatly one of my favorite bright eyes songs ever, ever, ever.
i'm so jealous of what conor writes. its all so amazing to me.
"Last Saturday I stood in your entry way A place where we used to wait For cars to carry us away Like once in this storm They drove me and Justin home" It's abvious that it's about someone he knew as a child, it doesn't have to be his dad but it could be. Though I truly don't if when Conor sings: "So don't you say to me That life's a trap The future is nothing but a tragedy Because I'll be out of that window Yeah, I'll start wishing to die again" I don't think his parents would say anything like that, but who knows.
Well, it is deffinetly one of my favourite songs and I love the metaporhs.
"You saved this life for me And you have sown it to beauty And I am grateful now and I will always be"
conor oberst is one beautiful poet.
i can't find the MP3 of this song anywhere -- if someone has it, and would like to share, my AIM screenname is 'the hopelesskids' . thanks.

I have it, but I don't know if it's possible to send from a hotmail account. I'm willing to if it is possible though :)

Who's Justin, does anyone know? He mentions him in more than one song.
Dear Aidan, Justin is Conor's brother.
I thought it was about a girl but it's about his father instead. very good song and probably one where he's more directly autobiographical than symbolical. even though there are amazing metaphors.
his father or God? possibly both
his father.
