New York, New York Lyrics
Start spreadin’ the news, I’m leavin’ today
I want to be a part of it, New York, New York
These vagabond shoes are longing to stray
Right through the very heart of it, New York, New York
I want to wake up in a city that doesn’t sleep
And find I’m king of the hill, top of the heap
These little town blues are melting away
I’ll make a brand new start of it in old New York
If I can make it there, I'll make it anywhere
It’s up to you New York, New York
New York, New York I want to wake up in a city that never sleeps
And find I’m A- number one, top of the list, king of the hill, A- number one
These little town blues, are melting away
I’m gonna make a brand new start of it in old New York
And if I can make it there, I’m gonna make it anywhere
It’s up to you New York, New York.. New York!
New York!

This song doesn't mean much. I hope no one thinks it was an attempt to reach out to New Yorkers, even if it is...and if so, and you don't like it...fuck off!! Reel Big Fish is a Cali band reaching out to sister New York!
And this song is awesome!
RBF eternally!!
Yeah, or maybe, they're just covering one of Sinatra's most famous songs.
Maybe.
i think he's got a point.
but you're really freaking me out emo guitar guy, cause you're a bit too rbf hardcore. not that they're not awesome. but.. you're weird.
this song is fucken cool, just becaus it shows the true talant of their voices its pretty fucken badass
Rbf is just a crazy goofy band and it seems like they just wanted to have fun and cover a song
actually RBF's label was making a sinatra tribute album so aaron and scott decided to do new, york, new york. after recording it, the album got canned. since it took 15 vocal tracks to complete, they just decided to throw it on cheer up instead of wasting it.
this is a great remake of sinatra's classic and a fun one for RBF to do...love it
A capella ftw!!
