Johnny Thunders was one of the guitarists in the New York Dolls, and back after they broke up Johnny Thunders did his own version of the song, so in essence both of them have a version of it. Personally, I like Johnny Thunders' version better.

I think it's living in the tough blocks of New York. It has things in it like drug use, rape, prostitution... I can't tell who's who , Without a bag of voodoo- Drugs Little girls are saying 'no'- Rape And big girls always want more- Prostitution
