Too Hot Lyrics
Why, me have to go leave that town yeah you know, 'cos it's too hot
Too hot, this town is too hot
Now they're calling for their guns
About to spoil the rude boys' fun
But rude boys never give up their guns
It's too hot
No man, can tell them what to do
Pound for pound, they say they're ruder than you
They are the boss, and no back down
You might have a couple you like
Choose your burial sight
Take insurance, make up your will
Come out and tell them, find them
The soldiers came back to you without them
The police force are afraid, they can't even touch them
They say "You think you're bad? Why don't you come out yourself"
These boys are calling for a fight, fighting tonight they don't lie
It's too hot
Too hot, too hot
Too hot, too hot
Too hot, too hot
Too hot, too hot
Now they're calling for their guns
About to spoil the rude boys' fun
But rude boys never give up their guns
It's too hot
Pound for pound, they say they're ruder than you
They are the boss, and no back down
You might have a couple you like
Choose your burial sight
Take insurance, make up your will
Come out and tell them, find them
The police force are afraid, they can't even touch them
They say "You think you're bad? Why don't you come out yourself"
These boys are calling for a fight, fighting tonight they don't lie
It's too hot
Too hot, too hot
Too hot, too hot
Too hot, too hot

haha, yeah, the first time i heard the specials was from SLC Punk, and i loved this song, so I went out and bought a cd, and they are pretty badass
as everybody knows with the specials, this is another cover... the original by Prince Buster is one of, if not THE, favourite first-wave ska song of mine. i also love the instrumental portion on the original... oh man, i'm gonna go listen right now.
the specials are fine and all, but they still pale in comparison to the first-wave originals. just my opinion.
it's a bit pointless to compare the specials to the likes of Prince Buster. the specials weren't just a ska band, they incorporated many styles into their music from punk to psychedelia.
haha the two voice vocal thing is funny.
I hate the attitude of a rude boy too..
rude boy = punk
