Fix what’s wrong, but don’t rewrite what the artist wrote. Stick to the official released version — album booklet, label site, verified lyric video, etc. If you’re guessing, pause and double-check.
Respect the structure
Songs have rhythm. Pages do too. Leave line breaks where they belong. Don’t smash things together or add extra empty space just for looks.
Punctuation counts (but vibe-editing doesn’t)
Correct typos? Yes. Re-punctuating a whole verse because it ‘looks better’? Probably not. Keep capitalization and punctuation close to the official source.
Don’t mix versions
If you’re editing the explicit version, keep it explicit. If it’s the clean version, keep it clean. No mashups.
Let the lyrics be lyrics
This isn’t the place for interpretations, memories, stories, or trivia — that’s what comments are for. Keep metadata, translations, and bracketed stage directions out unless they’re officially part of the song.
Edit lightly
If two lines are wrong… fix the two lines. No need to bulldoze the whole page. Think ‘surgical,’ not ‘remix.’
When in doubt, ask the crowd
Not sure what they’re singing in that fuzzy bridge? Drop a question in the comments and let the music nerds swarm. Someone always knows.
Honestly, I don't know what this song means. But, it's a very, very good song, IMO. Also, those aren't the lyrics... well... it's a small portion of them.
Here are the lyrics:
When summer's gone flee my angel
Winterwinds they might lead you far away
Beyond the pale horizon, a greaven silence
Over dreams to my heart yet not remain
(Vibeke) Oh please believe
It's in her eyes
(Vibeke) It is inside
It's in her heart, the same relation from which
I once led astray
(Vibeke) Oh please believe
It's in her eyes
(Vibeke) It is inside
It's in her heart, the same delightful place
I once felt in you
Angellore revered at dusk
For thee I rose, now descend all alone
Rise for me, soothe my heart
So wide a sea, may I overcome
(Spoken) Into the night strays an angel
So lost and tearful all astray
Into the night strays an angel
So lost and tearful all astray
Lo where's the pale horizon
Oh where there's dyingness
You reach for me beyond so wide a sea
(Vibeke) Oh please believe
It's in her eyes
(Vibeke) It is inside
It's in her heart, the same desire
I feel burning in me
(Vibeke) Oh please believe
It's in her eyes
(Vibeke) It is inside
It's in her heart, the same desire from
The empty pain within
Rise for me, soothe my heart
So wide a sea, may I overcome
(Vibeke) Deep as the sea, wailing secrecies are burning in me
For a dream I once desired
I bequeth my sorrow and I regret to thee
Cannot cross that wide a sea
Angellore revered at dusk
For thee I rose, now descend all alone
Rise for me, soothe my heart
So wide a sea, may I overcome
Thanks for posting the complete lyrics, I could never clearly hear everything while listening to the song.
I have a hunch that at least some of the songs off of Widow's Weeds might be inspired by the works of Edgar Allen Poe. I think that Angellore might be based on the concept of a dialouge between the narrator of Poe's Annabel Lee and Annabel.
I'll post Annabel Lee later.
Angellore revered at dusk
For thee I rose, now descend all alone
Rise for me, soothe my heart
So wide a sea, may I overcome
and when she sings: please believe, its inside.
well my guess, he wants the angel to withstand with him in grief and all sorrows, but angel wants him to believe he can do it all alone..just needs to believe in him.
I love how they set the stage for this song with the child-like laughter at the beginning and then an eagle's cry (did you all catch that) which tells you that the angel is in the sky. BTW, I really like the male vocals at the beginning...kinda reminds me of the band Nosferatu. Is that his real voice or are they using an effect on it? It is very calming.
There is obviously some delay/echo and / or reverb, but almost all vocalists use that, or else the vocals sounds very dry. Anyway, this song is totally beautiful. <3

I think there is a slight echo effect, yeah.
