World Of Glass Lyrics
All you ever wanted
All that you desire
Walk the line with me
I'll take you higher
I feel your body shake
Put me on fire
All you ever wanted...
All that you desire...
Who's the prey
What's the play
God created
Stay with me
We are the ones God hated
I'm a falling stone in a world of glass
I'm a ticking bomb with a smiling mask
Can you ever let go?
I'll play you like a violin
...stay...
You will be queen
I will be king
I'll chase your scary monsters
On the run
With me you are safe
I'm in control
I'll fulfil all your dreams
Every fantasy
I will be
What you need
Satisfaction guaranteed
Can you see them?
Can you hear them?
Can you feel them?
Do you fear them?
All that you desire
Walk the line with me
I'll take you higher
I feel your body shake
Put me on fire
All you ever wanted...
All that you desire...
Who's the prey
What's the play
God created
Stay with me
We are the ones God hated
I'm a ticking bomb with a smiling mask
...stay...
You will be queen
I will be king
I'll chase your scary monsters
On the run
With me you are safe
I'm in control
Every fantasy
I will be
What you need
Satisfaction guaranteed
Can you hear them?
Can you feel them?
Do you fear them?

I think this song is about how everyone in the world are on edge and they are a "ticking bomb" that can be set off but have a "smiling mask" to shroud what they really believe.
I love this song. Excellent composition.
"I'm a falling stone in a world of glass, I'm a ticking bomb with a smiling mask."
Those lines are simple, but so brilliant. I think it's about being suicidal. You know that if you kill yourself, you will hurt everyone who care for you, and you hide your deathwish because you pretend to be happy. Maybe this song is about a drug addict who's becoming suicidal.
To the abovementioned line: "I'm a falling stone in a world of glass, I'm a ticking bomb with a smiling mask."
I interpret that as someone being happy in destruction.
"I'm a falling stone in a world of glass, I'm a ticking bomb with a smiling mask."
It's about a dangerous person. Someone who's unpredictable, who's gonna do anything that will blow your mind.
This song has nothing about suicidal tendencies. It's kindda sensual song:
I'll take you higher I feel your body shake Put me on fire
I'll play you like a violin ...stay... You will be queen I will be king
i think that ^^^ tristiana (Tristana) track is The Faerie Queene, III, (mentioned in aleph) Tristana: by Benito Pérez Galdós (hence number of Spanish speakers on the YouTube of ymphonic Norwegian metal track) is is about young woman subjected to the rule of the tyrannical Don Lope.. it is also about Britomart, a female knight whose father who had a magic mirror given to him by Merlin who I think is Merlínússpá in Icelandic Norwegian hence World Of Glass... Which Avalon is also a island of glass in Celtic mythology as well. I don't know if something similar to Avalon is an idea elsewhere?
and that is the also an aleph in Borges story El Aleph (similar to mathematical concept of lowest set of infinity the aleph null) when the protagonist uses a device that can see all places at once (the aleph) found elsewhere n many world cultures mentioning Merlin's looking glass (there used for unrequited love), hence world of glass (Can you see them? Can you hear them? Can you feel them? Do you fear them?)
[Edit: Forgot to mention Avalon!]
