Carballo Lyrics
i lie.
halfway to sleep, sleep so restlessly.
for want of a place where lovers we'd be
darling, Carballo
we'll walk the red earth
a windy Mars olive-tree covered plain
the ground started to bleed with the falling rain
and you're holding my hand.
darling, take my weight in gold
it forms any figure you want it to know
no need of a polish, won't rust or erode
and forever to hold
yours to hold.
halfway to sleep, sleep so restlessly.
for want of a place where lovers we'd be
darling, Carballo
a windy Mars olive-tree covered plain
the ground started to bleed with the falling rain
and you're holding my hand.
it forms any figure you want it to know
no need of a polish, won't rust or erode
and forever to hold
yours to hold.

I love this song! The tone is so peaceful and restless. It reminds me of just holding someone you love so bad your heart kills you.
This song is awesome. It really brings the whole album to a good close with this song. He sounds so calm, but Chris Ziter needs to eat some food. I LOVE his voice. ahhh...
