it's sad how everyone these days dismisses Poison just because they were glam and they would rather listen to Linkin Park. i'd like to see Linkin Park try to write something this meaningful rather than the teen angst/broken relationship crap they write about.
basically this song is about a girl going to Hollywood and becoming famous, forgetting who she is and her loved ones in the process.

Poison is one of those bands that put meanings in thier songs and probably one of the best damn bands I've heard and I wish more people would actually get passed the whole big hair, glam look, "devil music" as my uncle calls it and listen to the meanings behind the songs with that being said Fallen angel is about a girl who moves to hollywood searching for her big break, "trading her memories for fortune and fame" Sadly she also lost touch with her friends and family and if you notice in the end of the video the cycle starts again as another "small town girl" is getting off the bus
Masterofpuppets I have to agree with you. Poison have aged incredibly well. We might laugh at their image now but the song writing is too strong to simply dismiss them as a throwaway band.
There songs are very meaningful i still listin 2 them...and yeah i would rather listin 2 them than Linkin Park...and i agree with Masterofpuppets!
Poison was more than a glam band, that's for sure. And yeah, it's too bad that people don't see past their image and pay attention to the music.

This song is about a close friend of the band that went to Hollywood and fell on hard times. It's a very personal song.

This another good song by Poison. This girl moves to Hollywood, thought it would be better than it was on TV, so now she's struggling thorugh her hardships, then she finally makes it to the big time & forgets about the ones she cared most about, her family & friends.
