It seems pretty obvious to me that this about how our ancestors came to North America and destroyed the lives of those before us in the interest of building our own colony.

The clue is in the title. It would appear that the song is about sex, and more specifically casual sex, such as a one night stand. Read through the lyrics with that in mind and you'll see what I mean.
makes sense to me. plus, they were (and in my opinion, always will be) the kings of sex, death, and religion.
