Please Come Home for Christmas Lyrics

Bells will be ringing the sad, sad news
Oh what a Christmas to have the blues
My baby's gone I have no friends
To wish me greetings once again

Choirs will be singing
Silent Night
Christmas carols by candlelight
Please come home for Christmas
Please come home for Christmas
If not for Christmas by New Year's night

Friends and relations send salutations
Just as sure as the stars shine above
This is Christmas, yes christmas my dear
The time of year to be with the one that you love

So won't you tell me, you'll never more roam
Tell me christmas and New Year
Will find you at home
There'll be no more sorrow
No grief or no pain
I'll be happy, I'll be happy that it's Christmas once again.

There'll be no more sorrow
No grief or no pain
I'll be happy, I'll be happy once again.

well, this song is pretty self explanitory.

she's sad and wants her love to come back home. holidays are lonely when you're by yourself because everyone else is happy and enjoying it with loved ones, and she just wants to have that happiness and warm feeling too [ the time of year to be with the one you love ] she knows she'll be happy if he comes home, and that's all she wants [ tell me christmas and new years will find you at home. there'll be no more sorrow, no greif and no pain. i'll be HAPPY i'll be HAPPY.. ]

well my role model killed herself on christmas. she was the most beautiful thing ive ever experienced. this song, then, means so much to me.
