Red Dwarf ROCKS! Its the pommie sense of humor i got from my dad i swear. I love this song and ive been trying to get it as a ringtone for my phone but i cant
This is obviously written about the main character of Red Dwarf, Dave Lister. The song is about Lister being lost 3 million years into deep space, long after the human race is probably gone. The song very well captures the atmosphere of the whole show. The second verse describes Lister's "plan" to have a farm on Fiji, as he describes in the first ever episode.
Great show, tune is catchy as hell, but the lyrics here are incomplete. Here's the rest of the song, which doesn't appear in the TV show credits but is on the soundtrack:
