This song is about two girls fighting over one guy. It's a hot song, too. I think both Monica and brandy are such talented female artists. 411-They actually did get in to a fight over a guy in real life. Brandy had a blacked eye and Monica had a busted lip. So sad...

I always loved this song! These two go good together. Oh, and I have a correction to announce. "Plus I can't see how he could, wanna take his time and that's all good" should be "Plus I can't see how he could, wanna change something that's so good".

I really like this song and when it comes on the radio, i stop doing whatever I am doing to listen to it. I think it was dump of them though to fight over a man when there are alot more out there in the world waiting for someone to ask them out.
I love how they seem to be trying to restrain themselves (see I tried to hesitate) while maintaining infuriating confidence, displaying understandable irritation, and mocking one another. On the other hand, these lyrics--clever as they may be--are as unoriginal as it gets. Ever heard 'The Girl Is Mine'? Granted, I prefer this song, but that one has far better vocals. Not that Brandy and Monica are untalented.
