Personally, this is one of my favorite rap songs of all time. It is shedding a completely different light on what it means to be a 'gangsta'.
"Now gangsta-ass niggas come in all shapes and colors" : This is perspective-altering. Geto Boys are suggesting that anyone can be a gangster. It is a philosophy, and a way of life, but it is not exclusive to those committing crimes and living in a bad neighborhood. Brilliant take on the term 'gangster', and one which has (as far as I'm aware) not been made before or since by any mainstream rapper.
jeez, the lyrical genius of this song was overlooked by all of you because of... office space. Each verse is a different perspective of what a gangsta is.

A little or young jake can refer to a adolescent male turkey, or perhaps the rapper "Jake the Flake" although the timeline doesnt really support the later theory.
I dunno about fry dies down or little jake but, "hittin switches in my black six-fo" is talking about hydraulic switches in a black 1964 lowrider, Probably the convertible Mercedes mentioned right before or it could be a 1964 Chevy Impala since that's a popular model with lowriders.
