Souljacker, Pt. II Lyrics
Souljacker can't get my soul
Ate my carcass in a black manhole
Souljacker can't get my soul
He can shoot me up full of bullet holes
But the souljacker can't get my soul
Souljacker can't get my soul
Left my carcass with the worms and moles
Souljacker can't get my soul
He can hang my neck from the old flagpole
But the souljacker can't get my soul
Ate my carcass in a black manhole
Souljacker can't get my soul
He can shoot me up full of bullet holes
But the souljacker can't get my soul
Left my carcass with the worms and moles
Souljacker can't get my soul
He can hang my neck from the old flagpole
But the souljacker can't get my soul

amen.
I remember reading that this song was inspired by a serial killer who called himself the Soul Jacker.
I love this song - he sounds just so tired and paranoid. I don't know what it's really about, but to me sounds like someone who has lived in a really rough place, who's had everything taken from them and fears being killed. 'he can hang my neck from the old flagpole' a referance to the persecution of black people in the USA? Or maybe I'm reading too much into that. The 'souljacker' could be a play on 'car-jacker', as in someone who steals cars. Maybe he's just an ordinary guy who's had everything stolen from him, and now feel so paranoid, he's worried they'll take his soul. '[but atleast they] can't get my soul' is his only comfort, beautiful sound.
