Definitely one of my all-time favorite lyrics.
Inherently socially vapid and ignorant but feels as if he or she is being pulled back by that nagging feeling, that "requirement," to be social and "alive" like everybody else.
Furthermore, let me love for the sake of enduring love. Some believe love is important, and they follow suit. Some believe love isn't important, and they ignore it. Well, some know love isn't important, but their emotions are against their thinking. It's a pity to be trapped in this easily amused vessels.
