I've Been Waiting for You Lyrics
(I've been looking, I've been looking)
(I've been looking, I've been looking)
I've been looking
For a woman
To save my life
Not to beg or to borrow
A woman with a feeling
of loosing once or twice
Who knows how it could be
Be tomorrow
I've been waiting for you
And you've been coming to me
For such a long time now
For such a long time now
A woman with a feeling
Loosing once or twice
Who knows how it could be
Be tomorrow
I've been waiting for you
And you've been coming to me
For such a long time now
For such a long time now
For such a long time now
For such a long time now
(I've been looking, I've been looking)
For a woman
To save my life
Not to beg or to borrow
A woman with a feeling
of loosing once or twice
Who knows how it could be
Be tomorrow
And you've been coming to me
For such a long time now
For such a long time now
Loosing once or twice
Who knows how it could be
Be tomorrow
And you've been coming to me
For such a long time now
For such a long time now
For such a long time now
For such a long time now

This song is a cover of a Neil Young song from his self titled album, Neil Young. I really like the Bowie version, it completely reinvents the song and makes it really edgy. Personally I think its about a man who is lonely and wants someone (and for some strange reason I'm guessing a woman) to help him get through what ever ordeals he is facing, I certainly could use that.
Great Bowie version of a Neil Young cover. This is obviously about someone who is lonely and waiting for the right woman to come along.
