Well this song is about a guy who thinks a girl starved herself to death. She smokes cigarettes and it makes him stare and think about how someday she will get her chance. Its like he sees her smile and a bong explodes. He feels out of world, like he doesn't belong in the world. I guess he did allot of drugs thinking about the world but he tried to take too many drugs, but looking back its like he didn’t get high enough. All the times he thought the girl cared were all the times he called her the Cadillac of high air, now that’s powerful lyrics. THE BONG EXPLODES SHES THE CADILLAC OF HIGH AIR. THAT MEANS SHE IS THE CREAM OF THE CROP OF HIGH AIR. So looking at the phrase High air we have to break it down, what does he means by this? He obviously means the air in the sky is so high.
