Fortunately Gone Lyrics
I wait for you in heaven
On this perfect string of love
And drink your soup of magpies in a
Pottery bowl that looks
As I am now, brown, round and warm
Chime on a rain wet
An ankle, toes or two
Sweetly as it drops upon your head
Just like it did today
Fortunately gone
I wait for you
Chime on a rain wet
An ankle, toes or two
Sweetly as it drops upon your head
Just like it did today
Fortunately gone
I wait for you (chorus *2)
On this perfect string of love
And drink your soup of magpies in a
Pottery bowl that looks
As I am now, brown, round and warm
An ankle, toes or two
Sweetly as it drops upon your head
Just like it did today
I wait for you
An ankle, toes or two
Sweetly as it drops upon your head
Just like it did today
I wait for you (chorus *2)

I love the way kim says heaven...
Not sure when it was written, but it's featured on Michael "Eyedea" Larson's acoustic CD that came out after he died, 'When in Rome, Kill the King'. I like to think it was written for him. A great, talented artist who's life was cut short early.
