Oh! Lyrics

Oh
Last flight
Get lost in the moss
Oh, oh
Fall in the neon mine
Push me down [3x]

Still rolling in the stones
Run to the log that's rotten
And oh, oh
Your soft belly bossing lows
Push me down [3x]

Run to the log that's rotten
Your soft belly bossing lows
Push me down [3x]

Does "Fountain" by PJ Harvey borrow from this song or is it just me?

@MuddyMae "Dry" owes The Breeders a lot, just listen to "Happy and Bleeding" or "Plants and Rags". Never noticed the similar melody in "Fountain" but you must be right

@MuddyMae hmmm that's interesting and nothing I had thought of before today. Probably because Fountain is one of my favorite songs on Dry, if not my very favorite and Oh is one of my least faves on Pod lol. From a logical standpoint, I wouldn't think a song I find spectacular could have borrowed from a song I think is sort of mediocre, but I'm sure stranger things have happened.

How can Kim's voice sound so damn emotional to the point where it cracks about COMPLETE GIBBERISH? Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of the Breeders and their surreal nonsense, and she really pulled out the big guns on this one. I admire her.
