I gotta tell you what I'm feeling inside
I could lie to myself, but it's true
There's no denying when I look in your eyes
Girl, I'm out of my head over you
And I lived so long believing all love is blind
But everything about you is telling me this time

It's forever, this time I know
And there's no doubt in my mind
Forever, until my life is through
Girl, I'll be loving you forever

I hear the echo of a promise I made
When you're strong you can stand on your own
Those words grow distant as I look at your face
No, I don't wanna go it alone
And I never thought I'd lay my heart on the line
But everything about you is telling me this time

It's forever, this time I know
And there's no doubt in my mind
Forever, until my life is through
Girl, I'll be loving you forever
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

I see my future when I look in your eyes
It took your love to make my heart come alive
'Cause I lived my life believing all love is blind
But everything about you is telling me this time

It's forever, this time I know
And there's no doubt in my mind
Forever, until my life is through
Girl, I'll be loving you forever

It's forever, this time I know
And there's no doubt in my mind
Forever, until my life is through
Girl, I'll be loving you forever
Yeah

This was a huge hit for Kiss (infact the first big hit with Eric Carr (RIP) On drums, Bruce kulick played also the bass on this track, Cause Gene Simmons his style was to hard for this song. It was written by Paul Stanley and Michael Bolton (only song he has written with Kiss). They Recorded the demo for Forever and it was the demo that made the cd (Hot in the shade 1989). It was also the last album with eric carr on drums he died in 1991 of heart cancer.

I love this song it reminds me of my darling, my cousin who had to go and kill herself. She really liked kiss, her and i would watch Detroit Rock City and listen to them all the time. This song was played at her funeral.... I f'en LOVE THIS SONG!

This song is the single greatest piece of evidence that KISS is just a corporation that has more to do with making money than making music. This song is heartless and contrived, but reflects the very generic power ballad formula which was popular at the time. Now, I actually like some KISS stuff in spite of how shallow it is, but this song was written with the same spirit with which WalMart buys products manufactured in China.
