Having lot's of memories about Jim Croce and his songs. I was a huge fan of his music years ago. I knew and played all of his songs. Jim was a prolific artist. His tragic death cut short the career of a creative genius. This song conjures up visuals of lovers talking all night and watching the sun rise. Was this song about anyone in particular? I don't know. His son now carries on his legacy as a musician and artist.
