Do I hear "Texas" whispered over the end? Kind of like in Roxy Music's Prairie Rose, but more subtle.
yeah...there is a repeated, whispered, 'texas never whispers' at the end. i love how it drops into the guitar break after the chorus; that shift always made me think of the sound from a seedy underground club somewhere.
Man, if you've never been able to hear him whisper "Texas Never Whispers" over and over at the end there, you haven't been listening loud enough!!
