Reverie Lyrics

I have you in my dreams at night
you were holding my hands
then I awake and you're not mine
now it's time to rise

I want you to turn cold ice in my soul
got to freeze this yearning inside

When you're inflicted by
the passion of love
desire and yearning the
deeper they burn
you were...
how it's too late
you were...

Now you're gone
it's too late
I was wrong
it's my fate

"I think of you and I see me
I'm the one I thought I've never be
I feel dirty - no purity
desire and yearning in your heart
no mercy for you
no mercy for me."

Its kinda like when you're so in love with someone and you know you can't have them so you try to forget about them. But then they start plaguing you in your dreams. So after a while you decide to just accept it and tell the person howyou feel. Only problem is that the person has moved on to someone else and now you're stuck with all the regret of not taking a chance the first time. So you're gonna have to now live with the fact that you could've been with a certain someone, but you messed it up. And now all you have left of that person is dreams/reveries.

I think the song is just yearning for someone in your dreams, maybe having unpure thoughts about them and waking to realize it was only a dream, and that is how it's supposed to be, you aren't meant to have them.

Rather than having "unpure thoughts" and not being supposed to be with that person, is more about feelind remorse and regret because we are unable to express feelings to that individual. This passion causes pain and suffering even in our sleep.

This is a beautiful song. Has a bit of sadness to it...
