    To me this song is one of two things. A man is singing to his lover to keep their relationship in the dark til he can sort out whats going on, even though its quite obvious to everyone else he's completely lost for her. She may be his mistress which would explain a lot. Or, his girlfriend is pregnant and they don't want anyone to know about it yet. "it's gonna keep on showing more with everyday"

    I definitely think it is the first idea. Definitely, a mistress. When I first heard the song I thought it might be about a couple whose relationship is struggling. But, that didn't quite fit.

    What a beautiful song. It could be a combination of the two - they're having an affair and she's become pregnant. Yeah initially I thought it was about a couple having problems but the lyrics are too warm towards her for that to fit! :)

    When I saw them live they said it was about having a fight with your girlfriend on the way to a party with loads of friends and not wanting them to know you're fighting.

    My idea is that this is about two lovers who are at that uncertain area of a relationship. They are not quite committed to each other yet but they aren't just friends anymore either. This is about one part wanting to sort out his confusion about her before they make it public knowledge. He asks her to accept this until he can get his head straight even though its pretty obvious that he isn't confused about his feelings about her, he just expected it to be more complicated than it has to be.
