I think this song is a second part to Scandal, from The Miracle, but much more emotional. Expressing how they want to be left alone by those who feel it necessary to spread dirt.
I LOVE THIS SONG well i love queen in general but this is one of the best.
the last song recorded by freddie was mother love, two weeks before biting the dust. He was unable to sing the last part of the song, because of the bronchial sickness that later killed him. He actually sang till his body didnt let him. Great man
This song is about being taken advantage of and wanting to break free from that. It's basically a power struggle, one has submitted themselves for so long and finally realises the need to be free.
I think it is about two people who should never have become lovers because now it a power struggle with one partner feeling like they have no say. They love each other but somehow end up in pain.

This song is very powerfull. And very underrated. This may be the last song they ever recorded, Freddie doesn't sing all the song probably because of the illness, so other band members fill in. And just by that fact alone it sounds so powerful and moving.
Dosti, hate to put you right mate but this song was recorded in the mid 80's. It was part of a session the band did with Rod Stewart, hence Rod's parts being sung over by the other two vocal members of the band
