A beautiful song! I think this is expressing how it feels to be with a lover, the freshness, the timelessness and a deep security.
Its a longing for that long held fantasy to become real: "Days and nights falling by Days and nights falling by me. I know of a dream I should be holding Days and nights falling by Days and nights falling by me"
And with that also that its about accepting that there is a someone who this is becoming real with. Bliss!
On the other hand, with the language of "shore" and "as you are rising" its easy to see the spiritual side... I just prefer the romance interpretation :)
