The drummer Molly Neuman sings on this song. It's about a guy who did something really bad to you and left you broken hearted. I wonder if the guy who she was going out with was actually named Richard. That's pretty bold to name the song after him, if you think about it. Yet, it's funny. Bratmobile rocks.

i love this song...i of course flip its meaning..i thought the words were a little different, but the meaning is just as well - i thought it said "i thought you were the best - i was filled with disgust" a gf of mine really got me in bratmobile & i just love their music...anyone know a compillation that their cover of "where eagles dare" was on?

If the man's name isn't Richard, then maybe she thinks he's a dick, which is derived from Richard.
