Broken angel take that plane and finger paint the sky till everything shines - The angel is gonna fix the sky till it's beautiful again. Don't know what being broken has to do with anything though. Do you?

NtoTheDrk, the whole song's hopeful, it's there to bring you up...pretty much saying to hold on 'til thing's get better ~All we losers stand in line just waiting for our time~, at least, that's what it is to me.

I think it's more like "Quit moping and waiting around pointlessly - just get up and grab life." Broken is like.. having a broken heart. The broken clock, the outdated jukebox - metahpors for basically feeling unwanted. It is uplifting, but Great Big Sea has a lot of songs that are. I love this song. :)

This song is actually written by Chris Trapper of The Push Stars...The two bands are close friends.
