I've Got All The Words And No One Lyrics

Rose, can I come down for a drink?
It's happened again
I've got a story, I'm sure will end poorly
I'll begin at the end
Rose you must know
I couldn't find the words
That it takes to say "Stay"
Now she's gone away
Rose, can I come down to your garden?
I can only wilt flowers
Bring me your shovel, there's a heart to be buried
And a body as well
Your letters I've tied
With a strand of your hair
In a breast pocket safe, they keep talking
Now wake up alone, with my eyes to the floor
And I see where my night will end weeping once more
Rose, can I come down to your rosebed?
To lay in your thorns
Know I am empty, soul must be buried
I will not be mourned
Rose you must know, I felt more than I said
Now I've got all the words, and no one
Now the hole has been dug, and I'm down on my knees
Rain make us mud, in spring we bloom as one

this song is possibly called "rose" and not this title... but either way... it's a beautiful song. It's lately become one of my favourite JTB songs as it reminds me so much of a Jawbreaker song. As in, it sounds more like Jawbreaker than JTB since it's live. I love it

this song is gorgeous. it is a lot like jawbreaker, which is always wonderful. this was on their demo. now it's on jade tree's v/a comp. "location is everything." the five dollars the cd cost is worth this song alone.

You're right the phil. This song is titled rose. It was on their demo. It probably sounds alot more like Jawbreaker because it is really early Jets.

I think it was originally titled "I've got all the words and no one," but then just turned to "Rose." Either way, awesome song, awesome band and a good turning point for Blake from Jawbreaker to Jets to Brazil.
