I think that this song is about how two lovers were seperated but they will always and forever have on thing. Dreams. They both had this dream - "the dreamers ball" where they can reunite.
I believe it is something where they are apart for a period of time, commonly called "taking a break" for whatever reason, but whenever they are lonely and need the other all they have to do is enter "the dreamers ball"
