My friends call me Beardo
They think that I'm a weirdo
I'm never gonna shave-o
I'll never be your slave-o

My sideburns are as good as can be
So why can't you stop making fun of me?

At least give me credit
'Cause no one ever said it
Was supposed to make me cool
Don't have to be so cruel

At least I don't have a goatee
So why can't you stop making fun of me?

(I will!)

this is the story of a paranoid schizophrenic, tormented by his friends, but only in his thoughts. "no one ever said it" because no one really says these things, he just believes they are all saying things behind his back. he is later killed.

Actually, this is a direct transcript from Ulysses S. Grant's diaries from the Civil War, dated September 15th 1, 1863. He was suffering from very low self esteem that night, had drunk a case of bourbon and was reportedly cursing about his "so called friend Abe" all day. Sad tale.

Hi. I wrote this song. This is about how I used to get lazy with shaving back in high school. My friend Josh would then make fun of me.
