This is a total beaut, and like all Biffy songs you can interperate how you want. But with lines like 'i cannot help the joy i'm feeling/ hurting you/ you're beautiful when you cry' I think it is about domestic violence or unrest, which Simon's family was a victim of in his childhood. Whatever the meaning, its an incredibly deep and unforgettable song. I've seen them with Hell is for Heroes and again with Vex Red recently- they simply blew me away.
