Let's Make Evil Lyrics
I love this song. My fave line is "Let's get gentle Let's get pissed Get your knickers in a twist Cause the angel and the devil kiss They fell in looooove" But anyways. Anthony was dating a girl that was still in high school when this song was made. So she was 17 and he was 31 at the time.(Rolling Stone Mag April 1994 issue... the one with Anthony on the cover explains more) So this song must have been written in 1993 sometime. It's about their relationship. She's the angel and he's the devil. This line stands out in how Anthony was feeling "Some seem dirty Some say clean Something from a madman's dream Am I really what I seem? Rising to my head like cream It feels so strange." Seems to me that he's confused. And on drugs again, which he was before he quit for good.
This is my favourite RHCP song by far. :)
dude this such a great lyrical song...i've only heard half of it bc winmx is retarded and only had it for half the song but i love it anyways.
It is about anthony and his younger lover, and the age diffrence i belive. This is a very good rhcp song!
Anthony Keidis was a naughty, naughty boy...
i have never heard it but read the lyrics lots. the way its used its like holding back on something but wanting to jump right into it at the same time.
yes he was quiffporn... i love JF, this song is from thr MYfriends single, but I guess u can get it on internet
i absolutely love this song!
i think it's about a girl he met once and the age difference was quite big (17 and 31). it sounds like he is pretty desperate for her but at the same time it sounds as if he's very confused about his feelings.
the verse always starts with a contradiction - evil/good, peace/war etc., meaning that no matter what they did, they couldn't go wrong but it could also mean that he's torn between two contradictin emotions or choices .
he sings "let's breake into heaven for a dance with heaven's devils or is that more than you can store inside your head?", so he isn't sure how far she will go.
well, thats just my 2 cents
love, Anna
To me it's about getting messed up and getting laid, but it's more than that. The contradictions of right and wrong are both chemical and emotional. It's a nice song about the darker side of love, and all while your mind is playing tricks on you.
i love the reference to dear prudence
