as if "daylight" wasn't amazing enough. :)
The first sentence is a little off, and its a good one: "Put one-up for shackle-me-not clean logic procreation..."
...as in: props to making babies with true love, not that shackled, desperate and dependent kind of infatuation...Or maybe its a one-up to parents who raise their kids as individuals with their own life and dont shackle them down due to the parents' own insecurities...or maybe i'm just an asshole.
So Day vs Night, what is the comparison? help/hinder fix/destroy?

If you compare Daylight and Night Light it is crazy! The "Life is not a bitch part" and the "origami" sections are beautiful in both songs.
I've also noticed that Aesop refers to himself constantly as an asshole throughout many of his songs....I wonder whats behind that.
Like in Daylight, the chorus is still talking about expressing his daily experiences through hip hop and his poetry, here... 'All I ever wanted was to pick apart the day Swallow up the pieces Spit 'em at your species' same idea, but its a more in your face way of expressing himself.
After listening to a couple live versions of this song, I'm thinking it's "Pass them out to the caveman" not "Pass them out to the pavement".
