This song reminds me of Hamlet... just the talk about suicide is like the "to be or not to be" speech. I suppose that's what makes me relate this song to Hamlet.

Dude if you dont like the music keep it to yourself. As thrice would say "Something are better left unsaid, you know what to say, somethings are better left unsaid". If you really hate the lyrics make a hate sight or somtin if you wanna discuss it. This is a great song.

The "And I am no good at suicide" line does remind me of Hamlet, particularly the "what dreams may come" line, which could be reinforced by the title of the EP, "From the Depths of Dreams."

if you listen to the ground folds and 187 back and forth you will realize that the guitar lines in the bgegiing of each song are almost exactly the same. i think they need some more originality, i mean come on. you have only realeased 8 songs and you cant thnik up a different guitar line. this could be a bad sign.

Just because two melodic lines are in different keys doesn't mean that they can not be similar. When you transpose something, you change the key, but most people can still recognize the song, can they not? This is because the intervalic integrity of the melody is maintained. So different keys, same intervals = similar sounding songs.

i'm with etaklaiceps...the acoustic version rocks. and yeah, the guitar lines from "the ground folds" and "one eight seven" are incredibly similar. originality is good, but i think that their lyrics make up for it. plus...they OWN live. they're great.
