oh my god, i love this song. these lyrics hit so close to me....i cant believe that its actually a song. i cant think of another song that i can relate to as good as this other than a saves the day classic like deciding or sell my old clothes im off to heaven. what a great song.

I agree, this is an awesome song by an awesome band..
the song is clearly about a girl that was very special to the author. the thing that strikes me is the positivity with wich the author says what he is going to do from now on and it is as like he is actually thanking the girl for that relationship because even thow it's over he learned so much from it and he feels that he is a better person now. the lyrics are so direct and positive that it sort of hurts deep inside when you read them.
