This song sounds like its about a girl who likes a guy and the guy doesnt really like her back. And its about how he feels and how he thinks about getting with her but never does.
I think he is saying that she takes the relationship too seriously, and he wants her to notice that he's not as serious about it as her.
I kinda a gree with RemyKilledElvis. I think that at first the grl was really serious and the guy wasn;t. And they took a break, and she is ignoring him now, and he just wantz her back. no i disagree with you all, i think it means that there's a guy and a girl who are friends or something and he starts liking her as more then a friend, but she still feels the same way about him. "our love still sits waiting as we both wonder why"
