self-doubt, that's someone I'm familiar with. Never being "on", my bad qualities are those that inhabit me a majority of the time. I can't have fun anymore, or even enjoy the simple things of life. I don't care..not because I don't want to, but rather because I can't. This song really tugs on my heartstrings because it's so hopeless. The music is hauntingly beautiful, and masks the sadness and emptiness of the lyrics. THIS is music, if ever there was a question anyone's mind whether such a thing still exists.

this song defines my incapability of truly being okay with myself. all while realiazing i dont give a shit. if one doesnt accept the "error of my ways" they can get lost. we're all different. ppl need to accept that difference and either respect it... or "just leave".
I've listened to the song a fair few times, and the beginning line still gets me. It sounds a lot like he subverted the opening line to The Misfits' "Last Caress", which is an odd start for a song about apathy and inadequacy.
WhiteTide, i thank God for people like you and Mike to say things that people with a low vocabulary like me can't find the words to say. This is music in its raw and most beautiful form.
