I hate to break it to everyone who is searching for " a deeper soul clensing" within this song. Davey is speaking of how noone is perfect and we are all monsters in one way or another. He is speaking to a woman he is trying to have sex with. just a few lines " hidden explosion, glow till morning, go under, deep within divinity" he also speaks of the "fruit". Basically, he is convincing her to sleep with him because he is no worse than the other monsters of her past |

this song is amazing, even though it is clearly sublimes saddest song it has such a great message. It shows exactly how powerfuly addiction is. Evne though bradley knew it was killing him slowly he couldnt stop, and now he is dead and he doesnt know how much influence he has been on the music world. So take the message for what its worth, but remember, bradley died at the peak of his like with a beautiful wife and kid |
