I think "The Fall of Adam" refers to the end of the world. I think Manson is using "Adam" and "Abraham Lincon" to represent the world as a whole, and how Adam, from the bible, was banned from paradise, and how Lincon was assasinated, both people came to an end, as will the world. Also the second verse - "When one world ends something else begins, but without a scream. Just a whisper because we just start it over again" probably refers to the end of the world, and how something new will evolve from the nothingness, as it did in the beginning, and what will come is chaos or "King Kill 33"

I think this song is coming from a person who thinks they will never become anything in life, and theres only one person who tries to help this person, but he still can't amount to that person - "She put the seeds in me, plant this dying tree, she's a burning string, and I'm just the ashes".

I think this song is about christians and how some of them try and get others to believe what they believe and if they don't, then they hurt the people who don't believe or force them to believe in some way. But if there really is a god, he wouldn't be happy with these people because a good god would want people to be themselves, no matter if they believed in him or not, but "A good god is hard to find" so maybe god really would punish those who don't follow him. This song in my opinion is coming from an athiest's view - "We are all just stars and we're waiting, we are all just scarred and we're hating, we are all just stars on your burning flag"

This song to me is about someone who has a negative view as far as life, god, love, happiness, and so forth. This person felt different from everyone else and he could never fit in, then he finally found someone like him, then that person was taken away, possibly a girl/boyfriend, or maybe a close friend. I'm guessing this song is about a girl judging from the last verse.

I think this song is about how people want you to be something your not, "this is what you should be" but Manson is saying "You are what you should be" and if your not the way other people want you to be, they alienate you form society. "Hang him on the cross like a number one son". "Boy's purified by the quitter gods" meaning people think if one doesn't believe in god their an unpure person, but the only thing that makes one pure is believing what one wants to believe. I think the lines "Kill your god, Kill your TV" mean people don't get thier ideas from themselves, then get them from the radio, television, the bible, and even though religion. Manson is simply saying "Kill everything that changes your mind to be unlike your own".

I read a quote from Manson himself and he said he created the character Antichrist Superstar to portray not only himself, but everyone in America, cuz everyone has evil in them, even the righteus Christains and this character represents everyone's evil, and all those who fail to understand those evils, will be offended.

this is such a different song for poison the well. im sick of everyone saying they sold out or are trying to be pop punk or any of that moronic non-sense. but this song is so perfect. the first time i heard jeff morena sing it i just had to learn the lyrics and sing along. i wish they would do it live sometime that would rule.

i love this song. i had my friend burn me all od TFTR 3 months ago and before he gave it to me i hadnt heard anything off it but when i put it in and heard the single chord strung with the lyrics "but i adore her" then breaking out screaming with a heavy guitar riff i just wanted to break out crying. its such a perfect way to open the cd and this is one of my all-time favorite songs ever.
